Partners for a Clean Environment is your one-stop-shop for business sustainability in Boulder County.

Partners for a Clean Environment (PACE) provides free expert advisor services, financial incentives and a certification program to help businesses measure and gain recognition for their energy, waste, water, and transportation achievements. PACE Partners are businesses committed to supporting a strong economy, implementing environmentally sustainable practices and demonstrating leadership in our community.

Whether you are a business, a property owner or manager, or a contractor, PACE can help you advance your environmental performance goals. If you are a business, our expert Business Sustainability Advisors support you in using energy and water more efficiently, reducing waste and finding better transportation options for your employees. If you are a property owner or manager, our Advisors assist you in better supporting your tenants and their workspace needs. If you are a contractor, our Advisors work with you to promote more efficient technologies.

Xcel Energy’s Renewable*Connect Solar Garden Opens For Businesses!
Want solar but don’t have the capital or roof space? How about a solar garden subscription? Xcel Energy’s Solar Connect is opening soon, and it will be available to businesses on the C (Commercial) rate (those with electricity demand under 25kW) soon. Food Waste Awareness Week
Did you know that the average American tosses nearly 300 lbs of food each year? We’re partnering with Boulder County, Boulder Food Rescue, PACE, Community Food Share, City of Boulder, and Longmont Food Rescue to change that! Join us this coming April 16th-22nd for Boulder County’s first annual Food Waste Awareness Week. Throughout the week, Boulder County and its partners will be hosting a series of events to bring awareness to this issue in our community, across the country and around the world. Sustainable Packaging Course
Join PACE Partner 1908 Brands in Boulder for a full-day "Essentials of Sustainable Packaging Training Course" on May 16. 1908 Brands has partnered with the nonprofit organization GreenBlue to offer the “Essentials of Sustainable Packaging Training Course,” a full-day training that covers the life cycle of packaging. We'll learn about what happens with all of those materials that you toss into your single stream recycling bin, both at home and at work. Attendees will be among the first to learn about the newest equipment upgrades and new materials accepted for recycling, and will leave with a better understanding of why and how the recycling process works here in Boulder County.
