PACE Allies

Some businesses generate pollutants of concern, but do not fit the traditional PACE model, such as mobile cleaning businesses.  However, they can still use work practices that minimize the environmental impacts of their activities.  The PACE Allies program was developed to guide businesses toward best practices and to inform potential customers of service providers that meet PACE Allies requirements.

It is easy to get involved as a PACE Ally.

  • Review the PACE Best Management Practices (BMPs) training
  • Pass the test following the training
  • Provide PACE with three upcoming dates and locations where you will be working. PACE will select one of the dates to perform an unannounced site visit.

If properly implementing the Best Management Practices (BMP), employees will be asked sign a pledge stating that they will consistently adhere to the BMPs.

Pet waste can contain bacteria that are carried in rainwater and snowmelt – ending up untreated in Colorado’s lakes, rivers, streams, and wetlands.  Remember to always clean up after your pet!
