Municipal Stormwater Operations

Water quality and quantity are impacted by stormwater runoff from municipal facilities and activities such as routine maintenance of municipal buildings, grounds, and vehicles; outdoor storage; materials handling, spills, and leaks; waste management; and application of pesticides, fertilizers, and deicers. For more than a decade, Partners for a Clean Environment has supported municipal employees in adopting best practices to reduce stormwater pollution and bring them into compliance with local regulations.
